This weekend is the 4th edition of Bloggiesta, hosted at Maw Books Blog, and I’ve signed up! What is Bloggiesta? From Maw Books Blog, it is: “ a blogging marathon. A opportunity to cross those nagging items off of your to-do list and improve your blog while in the good company of other awesome bloggers doing the same thing.”
I’ve already been working on my blog layout on wordpress, but I plan to do a little more. Working on my about page and updating my wishlist pages are up there in the to-do list as well as continue to fix the images on my livejournal. I’ll probably also work on new blog posts while I’m at it. I’ve been sick for about 3 weeks now, so the posting here hasn’t been as consistent as I’d like. Hopefully I’ll have plenty of time to do Bloggiesta – my brother is coming to visit this weekend, but he will be going into NYC most of the time so I don’t expect to be playing host too much.
While I’m at it — anything you’d like to see on this blog? Suggestions (constructive ones please) are welcome!

Well, I have an very selfish thing that I’ll like to see on your blog: a WITCH tag. Mostly because I love your reviews and I’m always looking for books about witches and magic users that might call themselves something else, but sound very much like witches.
By the way, thanks for introducing to Ilona Andrews. I read “A Questionable Client”, “Grace of Small Magics” and Silent Blade (yesterday lol) and I’m in love. I’ll start reading the Kate Daniels Series in the next few days. Better get it done before school starts again.
Ohh, I’m reading a book with a witch as a main character right now! It’s called A DISCOVERY OF WITCHES. It’s about this witch and a courtship she begins with a vampire in a academic setting (she’s a professor who researches alchemy).
I’ll think about adding specific tags like ‘witch’, or ‘magic’..

Oh you signed up for Bloggiesta! I haven’t decided yet if I should join this weekend. Maybe I should so I’ll be pressured to come up with some posts. January has been a slow blogging month for me, I’m not posting as much as I used to probably because I haven’t been reading as much as well. I’m hoping it will kick my butt into doing the to-dos I’ve had in my head to do.. some day. At least we aren’t expected to do Bloggiesta ALL weekend. We can set our own pace. So if you were thinking of working on blog posts ANYWAY, maybe you should sign up and we can rant together about how lazy we are, eh? 🙂
Thanks about the background, that makes me feel better — I had a starry sky one earlier but then decided it looked too dark. Looking for something lighter that sort of matched easily took me hours last weekend! I got kind of obsessed.
Oh and I feel almost human now. I haven’t had to blow my nose in HOURS! This is a personal triumph.

Well… hosting my brother and his girlfriend has been taking up the weekend but I’ve squeezed a little bit of blogging in there 🙂
