I’ve been thinking of doing a bookish gift post that had a specific fan theme, and since it’s the 200th anniversary of the publication of Pride and Prejudice I spent this weekend surfing the web for Jane Austen themed doodads. It should be no surprise, knowing how popular Jane Austen is, that I found a lot of Jane Austen themed objects. This is even with me making sure I wasn’t repeating bookish gifts I had featured here before. Enjoy. (Click pictures for enlarged views).

Hope you liked these! If you’re interested in more of this kind of thing, check out the bookish gifts tag. P.S. There are so many Austen-inspired books I could have put here but I restrained myself. And if they existed, I would have included pre-order links for The Lizzie Bennet Diaries and Austenland. Next time.
I’m all starry-eyed.
The scarf, bust, cookie cutters, pencils… want! Thanks for compiling this 🙂
It was fun. 😉
I want the bust too! And maybe the pencils (they are so sassy).
I have the Penguin Pride & Prejudice mug. 🙂 I want the scarf but it’s so expensive! And the postcards, of course.
Nice! I want one of those mugs badly. (Whenever I see postcards I think of you now).
I want another Penguin mug but the other titles don’t appeal to me. LOL people say that about washi tape as well.
So many wonderful items! I hope you won’t mind my chiming in that there are Jane Austen Character teas from Bingley’s Teas in a book looking box out there too. And Masha, (one of the artist’s featured up there) is designing the label for the Chawton Christmas tea punch. Thanks for letting me mention it and drooling over the other Jane goodness too!
Thanks for the heads up on the tea. I was aware of “Novel Tea” and Adiago tea has some fandom blends that are Jane Austen related, but not about Bingley’s Teas or about Chawton Christmas tea punch. Very cool. I’m a big tea person, so definitely going to check that out. 🙂
Wow, this is fabulous, thanks!
I’m glad you like the post! 🙂
This was a great surprise – thanks for featuring my pencils and I LOVE the whole selection! x Emma Makes
Your pencils are very cool! I’m so glad you liked this. Thanks for stopping by. 🙂
