Literary fashion: Kate Spade classic clutches

Does anyone have $325 to spare somewhere? Because that’s how much these book clutches are going for at Kate Spade. I never seem to care about purses, but the Emma clutch is doing something for me. Be still my beating heart!

Also, they have A Tale of 2 Cities, The Importance of being Earnest, and Romeo and Juliet:

Reading Raves: Red Riding Hood Photography

Ranting & raving is something I do periodically on this blog. Look for the “rants and raves” category for past rants and raves.

When I was looking for Little Red Riding Hood pictures last week I was overwhelmed by how MANY they were. These are ones from photoshoots based on fairytales.

Literary Tattoos

I don’t have any tattoos. My sister has something like 10. I would have to think about it for a long before I got one. Maybe I’d go with a literary tattoo? I’ve been surfing and running into them lately. Last week I saw geeky tattoos being highlighted on the blog. This week I got an email that pointed a blog, The Word Made Flesh which focuses on literary tattoos. I spent a good hour there and following tumblr links!

Do you have any tattoos? Are they inspired by books? I’m curious.

I even like pictures of books

Miles Aldridge did a photo editorial series called "Blown Away" in Vogue Italia, April 2006. The models have weird expressions on their faces, but I'm way too busy admiring the library. I also like to look at libraries in movies. Sex!

The rest of the series is posted at livejournal community foto_decadent here.
